Power Takes Over the Fillmore

July 2016
For the first time in company history, Power gathered all 1,750 employees together for the Mid-Year Kickoff meeting. Before getting down to business on Sunday, July 10th, everyone enjoyed a night out at Philadelphia’s newest concert venue, The Fillmore.

Old friends reconnected and new friendships were formed as people enjoyed the music of DJ Montone and food from some of Philly’s best restaurants. Having the entire company together in one room was a very unique and special experience for all involved, and set the tone for an inspiring weekend.

Glowing in the Dark

June 2016
Our New York sales and marketing team and their significant others were invited on a neon cruise to celebrate their hard work during the first half of the year. Dressed in an array of bright colors, everyone boarded the boat with one item on the agenda: fun.

Once the boat departed from the World Fair Marina in Queens, employees enjoyed a DJ, open bar, buffet-style dinner — and luminous views of The Bronx–Whitestone Bridge. A professional photographer was also on board to capture keepsake photos from the night for the entire team.

Sailing the Potomac, Gatsby-style

June 2016
Over 200 Power employees from the Maryland sales and marketing team recently enjoyed an extravagant, Great Gatsby-themed night cruising on the Potomac River with their significant others. Each employee received a golden ticket invitation for admission onto the boat. Several people went all out with the evening’s theme based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, sporting 1920s outfits with the most popular choices including sequined dresses, headbands, fedoras and suspenders.

The three-story boat provided perfect scenery for a magical night. Inside everyone enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks while relaxing to the music of the pianist who played 1920s-style music. A themed event on the water was a perfect way to bring employees together outside of the office to bond during a trip back in time.

Love was in the air as we celebrated Valentine’s Day across all of our territories. From the world-famous Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta to the New Haven Lawn Club in Connecticut to The Fillmore in Philadelphia, our employees and their significant others danced the night away while enjoying specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The photo booths were a huge hit, as everyone used the Valentine’s-themed props to create unique mementos from the evening.

Building Camaraderie in the City of Brotherly Love

December 2015
Every month, Power’s Regional Vice Presidents from all 10 territories come to our headquarters in Chester for a meeting, followed by a fun, evening activity — providing the team with the chance to get together and reconnect on a monthly basis. After our December meeting, the team ventured into Philadelphia for a night out on the town.

Mexican food was the choice of the night as the team dined at one of Philadelphia’s favorites — El Vez. Following a delicious meal, the group headed over to the Forrest Theatre for a new type of outing —  a Broadway play. Taking in the world-renowned —  and the ridiculously funny — Book of Mormon, was a great opportunity for the team to enjoy a night out in the City of Brotherly Love and build camaraderie with lots of laughs.

Team Power Kicks Off Philadelphia Eagles Season with the Ultimate Tailgating Events

Fall 2015
Football season is here and Power’s Philadelphia employees have already kicked off the season with two tailgating events to cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles — one at Lincoln Financial Field on September 20 for the Eagles home opener against the Dallas Cowboys and one at MetLife Stadium on September 27 when the Eagles played the New York Jets.

For both events, a group of over 25 Power employees across various departments, along with their significant others, came together for the ultimate tailgate experience. With blow-up couches, a DJ, outdoor activities and an abundance of delicious food and drinks, it was a great Power team building event. Even employees from our Maryland office made an appearance!

2015 Power Golf Outing and Picnic for ALSF

August 2015
Hundreds of Power employees sported their yellow attire at the company’s annual golf outing in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and finding a cure for pediatric cancer. With lemon-themed pop-up bars with custom lemon drinks, DJ booths and a photo area where employees showed off their best “lemon smiles” — this continues to be one of the most anticipated events for Power employees and their guests. Power invited Cole Fitzgerald, an ALSF Hero and cancer survivor, who entertained and inspired more than 250 guests as our keynote speaker and auctioneer— by far the most rewarding part of the day.

Each foursome competed for luxurious prizes and were encouraged to take part in the live auction, with proceeds being donated to ALSF. This year, Power was proud to donate an additional $25,000 to Alex’s from this event alone. The company has donated more than $750,000 since 2011.

Leadership by the Lake

Summer 2015
This summer was a great one for the Power team, with several events taking place throughout the season to encourage camaraderie and teamwork, while further developing our future leaders. From July 30 – August 2, nearly 20 individuals from Power’s operations team gathered at Power’s property on Lake Oconee in Eatonton, GA.  — an amazing backdrop for a fun-filled weekend.

Along with an interactive conference to discuss the latest business updates and what’s on the horizon for 2016, the team spent a low-key weekend by the lake, attending exquisite dinners and competing against each other in several outdoor team-building activities.
